If you want to get great fresh sushi at reasonable prices you need to stop at Sushi Koboo. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is very friendly. However, not all waitresses speak English, so looking up some basic Italian phrases might be useful before going to the restaurant.

- California Bakery

This is a very popular café, especially for brunch. Their food is decent. It is famous for its delicious pancakes, bagels, cheesecakes and chocolate cakes.
However, the place is quite small, so if you want to go there for a brunch during the weekend, you should make a reservation.
Prices are quite high, but it is worth it.
- Reef Café

Wifi connection is available.
A very small café where people who haven’t found a place in Taxi Blues will usually go to grab lunch or a cup of coffee. It offers really good paninis (Eifel especially) and coffee at very decent prices. The café also offers aperitivo from 6:30 till 9:00pm.
- Bocconi Giusti
Address: Viale Bligny 26
Opening hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-9:00pm
This is the best place for take out pizza and is very popular among students that don’t have a lot of time.
If you only have a half-an-hour break between lectures, go there and grab a delicious slice of pizza that will kill your hunger pains.
Prices: 2-3 euros per slice of pizza
- Self-service canteen
Bocconi University Dormitories
Address: Via Bocconi 12
Opening hours: Monday-Saturday: 12:00-2:30pm and 7:00-8:30pm
This Bocconi canteen offers quite a nice variety of food at cheap prices. The menu consists of main courses, entrées, salads and the desert/water costs only €5.50. The staff are lovely and accommodating. However, only a few workers speak English.
The place itself is very clean and white. There is a small garden.
Milano is famous for its aperitivos. Every evening from about 6 to 10 pm there’s a Happy Hour in all the bars/cafes in Milan. All you need to do is choose the place you like, choose a drink you like, pay a fixed amount (usually 8-10 euros) and you can eat everything you want from the buffet at the bar. However, most of the good places for aperitivo are outside the Bocconi area and it takes time to get there. So what should you do if you suddenly feel hungry and there is nothing in the fridge? Here are some places where you can have aperitivo around Bocconi.
Address: Viale Bligny 21
In my opinion it’s not the best place to go for aperitivo if you want to have a nice evening with your friends since the atmosphere is not the most pleasant one.
However it has a wide selection of snacks, so you can definitely come here whenever you feel hungry.
Cocktails are mediocre, but there are several big screens, so it might be a nice place to watch a football match.
Address: Viale Sabotino 20
It’s a cozy place for aperitivo that offers a buffet full of pasta, pizza-slices and so on. The food is delicious and cocktails are pretty good. The atmosphere is really pleasant.
Address: corner of Viale Bligny and Via Roentgen
Opening hours: Open every day except Sunday
Wifi connection is available.
Venti136 is a very good-looking place. The interior is chic and the atmosphere is relaxed and fun. It’s a nice place to grab a coffee or a snack during the day. In the evening it converts into a busy music bar. The café offers aperitivo from 7 pm till 10 pm with good music and good selection of drinks.
